Meet the residents – silvereye, waxeye, tauhou

Like the whitehead, groups of these small birds are regular winter visitors to the garden. There are so many sometimes that bushes quiver under the invasion.

  1. You captured those birds so well Wendy. I enjoy early morning walks when I get to hear our native birds, even a few Tui and bellbirds plus smaller ones hanging around suburbia and the harbour! The wax eyes are lovely
