Is she feeding chicks? I think so. I’ve checked on the nest every day and for the past 4 days she has been away collecting food when I arrive. Within a couple of minutes she turns up with a beak full of bugs and delivers them deep into the nest. Then she sits on it. I don’t think she likes me being there so I only stay long enough to see that the nest is still active.

I’ll say. I only stay for a few minutes each day to check they’re ok and there’s someone at the nest at least once every minute. Such dedication! No wonder they’re survivors. 🙂
